In November 2008, the Chinese government introduced a new national holiday in Tibet to be held annually on 28th March called “Serf Emancipation Day”. Refusing the Chinese government’s latest mass propaganda campaign, a coalition of young Tibetans and their supporters have re-named the day “Smurf Emancipation Day” and vow to peacefully struggle against the Central Gargamel Empire till the Smurfs are truly liberated!
